How to use this page
This page builds newsletter campaigns from the most recent published articles.
The center column is always a live preview of what would go into the email.
Typical workflow
- Set Articles (e.g., 5) and confirm the preview looks right.
- Click Create to generate a new campaign ID (this “locks” the campaign contents).
- Enter a Test email and click Send TEST to verify formatting.
- When satisfied, click Queue to send to all subscribers.
- Watch progress in Status, or use Refresh status.
Buttons and what they do
Create
Creates a new campaign using the current Articles count (the latest N published articles).
Generates a Campaign ID and loads the campaign into the page.
Important: Create snapshots the content. Changing Articles after Create does not change the existing campaign.
Duplicate
Creates another new campaign using the same Articles count.
Use this when you want a fresh campaign ID without re-thinking your settings.
New
Resets the editor to a clean state (no campaign selected) and unlocks Articles.
This does not delete anything.
Send TEST
Sends the selected campaign to the Test email address only.
Use this to verify formatting and links before queueing to subscribers.
Queue
Adds the campaign to the delivery queue for all subscribers.
The scheduler will process the queue automatically.
Queue is disabled once a campaign is already queued/sending/completed to prevent accidental double-send.
Refresh status
Fetches the latest campaign status and delivery counters.
Auto-refresh also runs while a campaign is queued or sending.
↑ Top
Scrolls the preview panel back to the top (useful for long previews).
Campaigns ▸ Refresh
Reloads the campaigns list on the right (Completed / In progress / Drafts).
Campaign row (click)
Loads that campaign into the editor and preview (so you can view status, test-send again, etc.).
🗑️ Delete
Deletes the selected campaign. For safety, you must type the last 6 characters of the Campaign ID to confirm.
If Also delete queue rows is enabled, it removes associated queue jobs too.
Note: Deleting does not “unsend” emails that already went out.
Terminology: “Articles” = how many of the newest published articles are included.
“Campaign ID” = the saved snapshot used for test and subscriber sends.
